Here’s a little current background on me. In late March I underwent a major surgery. During this time my kids ate out almost everyday for 2 weeks. Bad mommy! Once I began healing, which I am still working on, it dawned on me my kids needed to eat a little (I’m being modest a lot) healthier. No way they are going to eat green leafy veggies and superfoods without a small amount of sneaky persuasion.
Here’s a really yummy “clean eating” recipe for the kiddos that you will also enjoy!
What you will need:
King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12 pack)
Prep Time: 5-10 mins
Using a baking sheet and cover with foil. Cut the tops off of
rolls and place bottoms on the baking sheet. Cook bacon.
Put 5 pieces of deli sliced turkey, 5 pieces or sliced provolone, and
4 pieces of bacon in a food processor. Pulse until desired consistency
is reached. *You can add oil over if you would like
Spoon all the ingredients onto the bread bottoms that are on the
baking sheet. Place tops back on. Brush tops lightly with olive
oil and sprinkle parsley (fresh or dry). *You can add seasoning on
Cooking Time: 20 -30 mins
Preheat Oven BEFORE starting prep at 350 degrees
Place cooking sheet in oven. Allow to cook for 20 -30 minutes.
In 20 -30 mins you will be gobbling yummy cheesy turkey & bacon
